Sr. Finance Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
Location: UAE
Industry: Real Estate Development
Experience: 10+ years total, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in Real Estate in UAE(mandatory)
System Knowledge: preferred experience with SAP
Escrow Experience: Must have dealt with escrow accounts & funding

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and accounting standards.
• Oversee and manage all financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, and investment analysis.
• Supervise the handling of escrow accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to the senior management team to support decision-making.
• Monitor and manage the financial performance of the company's real estate projects.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., legal, operations, project management) to ensure smooth financial operations and project execution.
• Ensure tax compliance and manage the company's relationship with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP financial modules, ensuring efficient financial operations.
• Evaluate and mitigate financial risks, and ensure sound financial controls are in place.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of total finance experience, with at least 6 years of experience in real estate finance within the UAE.
• Strong experience in managing escrow accounts and understanding legal compliance.
• Proficient in SAP, with a solid understanding of real estate finance management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with real estate project financing/funding and investment strategies.
• Knowledge of real estate development processes, escrow and construction financing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
