Sr. Financial Accountant

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Oversee the company’s financial activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.

· Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

· Monitor and interpret cash flows, cash balances and cash forecasts, predicting future trends.

· Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.

· Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.

· Develop financial and tax strategies.

· Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.

· Manage vendor relationships.

· Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.

· Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

· Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

· Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

· Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

· Track refunds, chargebacks, and customer returns, ensuring proper accounting treatment.

· Implement and maintain internal financial controls and compliance frameworks.

· Partner with payment providers, banks, and external auditors.

· Handle VAT filings across jurisdictions and ensure cross-border tax compliance.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· BSc/BA in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field.

· Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

· Several years of experience in a finance role.

· Proven experience in E-commerce field.

· Proficient user of finance software.

· Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow.

· Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
