Sr. Frontend Developer

Job Description

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Creating Web applications using standard HTML/CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap and PHP best practices.
• Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs.
• Write clean, well-designed code.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Reporting to the manager/team leader on a regular basis.

Critical Functional Skills:

• Understanding of front-end/UI technologies such as HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, PHP is mandatory.
• High level of experience with UI layouts, Bootstrap and CSS.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Ajax.
• Significant experience of debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console.
• Hands on experience in web page performance improvement & optimization
• Understanding of third-party Web Services, JSON and REST API would be preferable.
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Other Essential Soft Skills:

• Good team player that is enthusiastic about delivering results
• Good communication skills
