Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees (monthly/bi-weekly/weekly, depending on company cycle).
  • Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement, considering deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
  • Maintain employee data in payroll software (e.g., salary structure, tax declarations, bank details).
  • Coordinate with the finance department for payroll funding and reconciliation.
  • Handle statutory compliance: PF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, salary slips, and Form 16.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor attendance and leave records to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Stay updated with labor laws and payroll regulations and apply changes as necessary.
  • Support audits by preparing payroll records and documentation.
  • Liaise with external vendors (if payroll is partially outsourced).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing industries HR operations.
  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
