Position Summary:

The Sr. Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic and operational HR leader for multiple manufacturing sites, providing direction and partnership to plant leadership teams on all aspects of people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness for our Interventional business unit. This role ensures consistent HR practices across locations, builds leadership capability, and drives a culture of engagement, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of a dynamic HR team that works together closely to build culture, drive outcomes in the best interest of the business and enable our employees to be their best.
  • Manage HR team and activities across 3 facilities with locations in Minnesota, California, and Costa Rica.
  • Partner with HR leadership, site leaders and executive management to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Assist in setting objectives for Human Resources team and tracking progress; monitor HR metrics (e.g. cost-per-hire and turnover rates).
  • Work with HR and business unit leadership to determine organizational design and talent management initiatives.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Partner with corporate HR leadership on salary administration program and communicate total rewards programs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and corrective action.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of HR programs, policies, and processes across all facilities.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives, leveraging surveys and feedback to drive positive culture change.
  • Coach site HR teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused service to employees and leaders.
  • Act as a liaison between plant HR and corporate HR for alignment and communication.

Must Have:

  • BA/BS in Human Resource or related field. Masters/MBA preferred.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Minimum 7 years of prior human resources management experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven success managing HR for multiple sites.
  • A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience; ability to listen and understand.
  • Capability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel to business unit sites

Salary Range: $110,000 to 135,000
