Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Development & Conceptualization
- Lead interior design concepts for hotels, resorts, hospitals, clinics, and wellness facilities.
- Develop and present design ideas, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualizations.
- Create environments that balance functionality, comfort, and aesthetics—tailored to guests, patients, and staff.
- Ensure designs reflect brand identity, healing environments, and user experience principles.
2. Project Coordination & Documentation
- Prepare and review working drawings, technical details, BOQs, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants (MEP, lighting, structural, and medical planners), and vendors.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards (hospital – NABH, NBC; hospitality – brand/operator standards).
- Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and maintain design integrity.
3. Client & Team Management
- Serve as the main design liaison with clients, operators, and project stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Present design proposals and material samples to clients and senior management for approval.
- Mentor junior designers and oversee their design documentation and detailing work.
4. Technical & Material Expertise
- Expertise in FF&E design and specification for hospitality and healthcare projects.
- Knowledge of hygiene-friendly, durable, and sustainable materials suitable for both sectors.
- Understanding of operational flows—guest/patient movement, service circulation, and functional zoning.
- Awareness of lighting design, acoustics, and interior ergonomics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
- 8–10 years of experience in interior design, with substantial exposure to hospitality and healthcare projects.
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating hotel/resort and hospital/clinic interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and presentation software.
- Excellent design sense, detailing ability, and space-planning expertise.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
