Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the work of and develop/coach Business Intelligence team members
Develop and maintain new and existing Power BI reports
Research and evaluate technology, third-party libraries, and other industry trends to assist with
providing the best solutions
Effectively communicate with business leaders to ensure reporting is efficient and provide status updates on projects
Coordinate work between the Business Intelligence team and other IT teams as well as other departments
Troubleshoot production issues with model refreshes and report functionality
Track Business Intelligence projects/requests, and provide regular status updates to leadership
Attending meetings and regularly communicating with team members and business stakeholders
Qualifications:
Education
(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering, associated discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
Business Experience
(prior-year’s work/related experience)
Minimum 3-5 years of BI/report development with TSQL and/or PL/SQL experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including, but not limited to, safety policies, procedure manuals, and maintenance specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
Technical Qualifications & Skills
Knowledge of Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio/SQL Server required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Oracle database, and JDE preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work in an office environment using laptop, cell phone, and office phones.
Work Environment:
Will interact frequently with other members of the IT team, as well as various other business stakeholders and senior leaders.
