    Primary Responsibilities:
    The Senior Manager of Facilities Engineering role is a Dynamic and results-driven leader with a proven track record in leading multi-site manufacturing/distribution center operations. This role will combine technical engineering expertise with strong business acumen, vendor management skills, and the ability to inspire high-performing teams across multiple locations.     Essential Functions:
    DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Strategic Facilities Leadership

    • Direct facility operations and engineering functions across multiple sites, ensuring operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure reliability.
    • Develop multi-year, multi-site asset management strategies, integrating preventive and predictive maintenance programs into CMMS platforms to maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
    • Lead enterprise-wide facilities-related capital projects from concept through commissioning, delivering projects on time, under budget, and above performance standards.
    Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

    • Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives—5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma—across multiple facilities, driving measurable gains in productivity, workflow efficiency, and cost reduction.
    • Apply engineering and CAD expertise to reconfigure plant and DC layouts, improving space utilization and throughput capacity enterprise-wide.
    • Introduce site-wide and multi-site energy efficiency programs, achieving significant reductions in operating costs and advancing sustainability goals.
    Business & Financial Acumen

    • Manage multimillion-dollar annual operating and capital budgets for multiple manufacturing/distribution sites, ensuring optimal ROI on all facility investments.
    • Partner with procurement to negotiate high-value vendor contracts and service-level agreements, reducing total cost of ownership and improving service quality.
    Team Leadership & Development

    • Build, coach, and lead cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams across multiple facilities, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
    • Establish standardized roles, performance expectations, and development programs to drive consistent results across sites.
    • Lead multi-location change management initiatives, aligning site-level teams with enterprise operational objectives.
    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

    • Expert in regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions, ensuring all sites meet ASHRAE, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA requirements with zero compliance violations.
    • Advanced knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), HVAC design, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection engineering in large-scale, multi-site environments.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and CMMS tools (Fiix, Maintenance Connection) for enterprise-level facility planning and asset management.
    • Experienced in enterprise-wide emergency preparedness planning, business continuity, and critical infrastructure resilience.
    • Adept at developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability across diverse facility portfolios.
    • Expert in overseeing complex building systems, managing multimillion-dollar capital projects, and implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable cost savings and performance improvements.
    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • B.S. Business, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering (required)
    • M.S. in related field or advanced coursework in facilities management/energy systems (preferred)
    • Professional certifications such as PE License, Certified Facility Manager (CFM), LEED AP, OSHA 30, Building Operator Certification (BOC), and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt highly valued
    • Minimum of 6+ years in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering or related field
    • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in leading a team
