About Top Cup
Top Cup is on a mission to make every gathering a little better. We create premium aluminum cups designed to elevate the moments that bring people together — from backyard barbecues and tailgates to concerts, celebrations, and everyday get-togethers. Proudly made in the USA in Rome, Georgia, Top Cup combines durability, style, and performance in a cup that's reusable, infinitely recyclable, and cold on contact.
We're building a brand around great experiences, great people, and a simple belief: the best moments deserve a better cup. We're just getting started — and we're looking for people who want to help take this brand to the next level.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to help build and execute Top Cup’s marketing strategy. You'll own campaign operations end to end, keep our retail and FSOP sales teams equipped to sell, and be the connective tissue between marketing, sales, operations, and the rest of the business.
You're a natural operator who understands what marketing can do to amplify a brand — you can run a standup, build a go-to-market brief, pull together a dashboard, and jump into a brand positioning conversation without missing a beat. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can adapt and thrive even when priorities shift.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations & Project Management
- Own campaign operations end to end — supporting new product launches and strategic marketing programs from brief through deployment and recap
- Serve as the operational hub for marketing — project timelines, cross-functional briefs, campaign trackers, and launch calendars
- Support marketing budget management — track spend, flag variances, and keep campaigns on target
- Manage select agency, vendor, and freelancer relationships — briefing, timelines, accountability, and budgets
- Own the internal reporting cadence — pull performance data, build readable dashboards, and translate results into clear recommendations for leadership
Sales Enablement & Retail Marketing Support
- Equip retail and FSOP Sales to drive sell-through with sales collateral based on data and insights — support the development of sell sheets, one-pagers, presentation decks, etc.
- Partner with the Sales teams on go-to-market materials for new product launches and seasonal drops
- Act as the marketing point of contact for retail partners — capturing and executing shopper marketing programs, POS and merchandising, and promotional opportunities
- Coordinate with Content and Design team members to keep sales assets current on brand standards and product specs / availability
- Track and report on retail and FSOP performance alongside the Commercial Sales team
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Be the bridge between marketing, sales, operations, and design — keeping everyone aligned and moving in the same direction
- Partner with the Chief Brand Officer on select projects where brand and commercial operations intersect
- Drive cross-functional collaboration on the marketing calendar and new product development, ensuring launches, campaigns, and promotional moments are coordinated and executed on time
- Manage intake of marketing requests from internal stakeholders, prioritizing against team capacity and business goals
- Support campaign briefing and creative reviews with clear briefs, realistic timelines, consolidated feedback
- Identify gaps in process and build systems that help the team scale quickly
- Other needs based on business and growth needs
Qualifications
- 5–7 years in marketing, brand management, or a related field — ideally at a fast-growing DTC, CPG, or consumer brand
- Bachelor’s required (MBA highly valued )
- Exceptional project manager — you anticipate what's coming and get ahead of it
- Agency and vendor management experience required — you've briefed, managed, and held creative and media partners accountable
- Startup experience and brand-building preferred — you know what it takes to scale a brand from growth stage to household name
- Strong communicator — sharp briefs, clean emails, presentations that distill complex information into strong and memorable takeaways
- Comfortable pulling and interpreting data (GA4, Shopify, dashboards) to inform decisions and build reports for leadership
- Experience supporting a sales team with marketing materials: sell sheets, decks, product guides, etc.
- Adaptable team player — as comfortable in the details as presenting to leadership
- Self-starter energy — you don't wait to be told what needs to happen
- Bonus: experience with licensing agreements (NFL, NHL, Coca-Cola etc.)
- Bonus: tools like Notion, Asana, or Monday for project management; Klaviyo, Shopify, or GA4 for marketing
