  • Delivers clear, actionable project updates to diverse audiences, including Steering Committees and senior executives, ensuring alignment and informed decision‑making.
  • Drives coordination across multiple departments, fostering collaboration and removing barriers to execution.
  • Holds vendors and internal teams accountable for meeting commitments, maintaining quality standards, and delivering on scope.
  • Oversees comprehensive project management activities, including planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change control.
  • Introduces and institutionalizes process improvements and project management best practices to enhance operational discipline and efficiency.
  • Challenges existing approaches and advocates for decisions that prioritize the organization’s strategic interests.
  • Mentors, develops, and provides leadership to Project Managers within the PMO, strengthening team capability and performance.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field
  • 7 years Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, or business analysis, preferably in the airline or travel industry
  • Strong understanding of airline operations and customer journey dynamics
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and presentation tools (PowerPoint)
  • Strong leadership characteristics and proven ability to lead a project/team

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire Stakeholders
  • High degree of organization, initiative, and personal accountability
  • Excellent project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and various levels of leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge and experience with the Agile framework
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to be flexible and capable of adapting to constant change
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
