Sr Manager - Supply Chain Management

Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: COO

Role Overview

The Group Head – Supply Chain Management will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment across all units of the hospital group. The role ensures cost-effective procurement, optimal inventory control, strong vendor partnerships, and seamless distribution of materials to support uninterrupted patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Procurement & Vendor Management – Strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor development, and performance evaluation

· Cost Control & Budget Management – Driving cost optimization initiatives and budget adherence

· Inventory Management – Maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing expiries, and preventing stockouts

· Logistics & Internal Distribution – Ensuring timely and efficient supply across all units

· Compliance & Quality Assurance (NABH) – Ensuring adherence to NABH and regulatory standards

· Team Management – Leading and mentoring supply chain teams across locations

· Data Management & Reporting – MIS reporting, analytics, forecasting, and ERP optimization

Candidate Profile

· Experience: 12+ years in hospital supply chain/materials management

· Proven experience in multi-unit hospital operations preferred

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability

· Experience working with NABH-accredited hospitals
