The Cell Leader is responsible for leading a defined production or service cell within the Gas Turbine Service Center. This role ensures safe, efficient, high-quality execution of repair, inspection, assembly, disassembly, and service activities for gas turbine components. The Cell Leader drives daily operational performance, supports team development, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities within the assigned service cell.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
- Assign tasks, balance workload, and monitor productivity across team members.
- Review work instructions, job packages, and technical requirements before execution.
- Support troubleshooting, problem-solving, and escalation of technical or process issues.
- Monitor progress against schedule, identify risks, and implement recovery actions as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS, 5S, lean, and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, quality, procurement, and other support functions.
- Verify documentation accuracy, including inspection records, completion reports, and traceability requirements.
- Coach, train, and develop team members to build skills and capability.
- Support performance management, daily meetings, and communication of priorities.
- Escalate safety, quality, equipment, or personnel issues promptly to management.
- Act as a role model for accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma from an accredited university or college, combined with relevant work experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations leadership roles, preferably in gas turbines, rotating equipment, power generation, or heavy industrial repair environments, with strong exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Prior people leader experience in operational roles.
- Fluency in English.
