Job Responsibilities for Mechanical Designer
- Should have excellent working experience on Solidworks.
- Prepare calculations on the proposed machine before completing technical drawings
- Creates CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) to
support manufacturing, testing, and assembly, and support components to assist with assembly.
- Should be excellent working on Weldment, Sheet Metal, Simulation, Part assembly, FEA.
- Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers and the production team
- Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis
- Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations, and client standards
- Submit drawings to upper management and construction teams
- Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company's existing machines
- Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications
- Finalize designs and send prints to the production department
· Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
· Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for production.
- Ensure raw material used in the product is as per design requirements.
- Ensure parts going to the vendor for further work meet customer expectations and as per design.
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products
- Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually
- Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
- Ensure that the parts received from the third party vendors like CNC cutting and bending system suppliers to ensure that they are as per the given dimensions and tolerance – then only accept the parts
Qualifications for Mechanical Designer
- 4+ years' Industrial experience in an engineering role or related experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Solidworks modeling, drawings, and machine design with experience in design, and analyses.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding. Strong computer and mathematical skills
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
- Able to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
