Sr Mechanical Designer - Onsite

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

• Design tools for production and specialty use.
• Build prototypes
• Estimate the cost of fixtures and equipment.
• Implement Changes to Fixturing
• Verifies fixtures for production
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to production fixtures and processes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

• Education
• • 2 year degree in a technical field with equivalent experience
• Experience
• • 3+ years of work experience desired if have 4-year degree or 2 year degree in a technical field

Knowledge / Technical Requirements

• • Knowledge of materials desired
  • Knowledge of technical design required
  • Knowledge of geometrical tolerance required

Competencies, Skills & Abilities

• • Ability to design mechanical and/or electrical solutions.
  • Creo required and Solidworks capability.

Equipment Operation

• • Test Equipment, CREO, MS Office machine shop tools and measuring equipment, 3D Printers, laser marking equipment

Salary and Other Compensation:
The target rate for this position is between $66,227 to $90,292/year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
