Sr. Mechanical Engineer-MEP

Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and manage all mechanical works (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Chilled Water, Pumps) for villas, residential high-rise, and commercial projects.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Ensure full compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and Civil Defense (ADCD) regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams for seamless project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, manage resources, resolve site technical issues, and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Mentor and guide project engineers, supervisors, and site staff.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years UAE experience in mechanical MEP projects.
• Proven experience in villas and high-rise buildings is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes, ADM, and ADCD regulations.
• Expertise in HVAC, Chilled Water systems, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Pumps.
• Experience in site coordination, BOQ preparation, and material approvals.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Civil Defense Fire Fighting approvals (ADCD)
• PMP or Project Management certification (advantageous)
