Sr. Mechanical Estimation Engineer

Job Description:

As a Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing cost estimations and engineering solutions for various projects in our oil and gas division. With a focus on greenfield and brownfield developments, you will leverage your expertise to drive project efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop detailed mechanical cost estimates for oil and gas projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments, Plant turnaround , Tank Rehabilitation and various others.

 Analyze project specifications and design drawings to determine scope requirements.

 Prepare and present detailed cost analyses and budget proposals to stakeholders.

 Evaluate project timelines, material costs, and labor requirements.

 Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to optimize cost solutions.

 Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize project overruns.

 Provide technical guidance on plant maintenance, heat exchanger management, and catalyst replacement.

 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

 Assist in the development and improvement of estimation tools and processes.

 Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on engineering modifications and improvements.

 Support the procurement process by providing insight on vendor selection and equipment specifications.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

 Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical estimation within the oil and gas industry.

 Proven expertise in greenfield and brownfield project estimation, plant maintenance, heat exchanger, and catalyst replacement.

 Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.  Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office .

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.

 Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

 Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector.
