Sr Mechanical Estimation Engineer - Oil and Gas and MEP

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer to manage and deliver accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for Oil & Gas and MEP projects in Qatar. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead estimation activities from tender review through final bid submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed techno-commercial proposals, with deep understanding for mechanical take-off, vendor coordination and construction methodologies.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for Oil & Gas and MEP projects.
• Study drawings, specifications, scope of work, and contract conditions to identify project requirements and risks.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis for mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and process equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and construction teams to obtain technical inputs and pricing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC tendering, mechanical estimation and MEP projects.
• Proven experience working on projects in Qatar
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and Qatar construction practices.
• Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with EPC contractors and large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
