Sr Mern Developer (remote part time)

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Fullstack Developer to join our team and help build modern, scalable web applications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior engineers to develop both frontend and backend features, focusing on creating clean, responsive user interfaces and reliable backend APIs. This role demands strong skills in React, Next.js, Express, and TypeScript, along with a dedication to maintaining high code quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications using React, Next.js (App Router), and Express.
- Work on both frontend and backend tasks under the mentorship of senior engineers.
- Design clean and responsive user interfaces using TailwindCSS and component libraries like Shadcn or Ant Design.
- Build backend APIs and integrate them with PostgreSQL databases through Sequelize.
- Implement secure authentication flows using Clerk.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a strong emphasis on TypeScript and overall code quality.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Sentry to detect and help resolve bugs efficiently.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in fullstack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React and Next.js (App Router).
- Solid knowledge of Node.js and Express.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and TailwindCSS.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and basic PostgreSQL queries.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with Clerk, Sanity, or Sequelize is advantageous.
- Exposure to monitoring and analytics platforms like Sentry, PostHog, or Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of component libraries such as Ant Design and Shadcn.
- Understanding of testing frameworks including Jest and Playwright.
- Ideally, 4 years of experience working with the MERN stack.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
- This is a full-time, in-person role.
