Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and modern backend frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building scalable applications, microservices, and APIs while working in cloud-native environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support high-performance applications.
• Work with MongoDB and relational databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests using Jest (or similar frameworks).
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Node.js and Nest.js frameworks.
• Solid experience with Express.js and API development (REST & GraphQL).
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and database design.
• Proven experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Proficiency in Jest or other testing frameworks for writing automated tests.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes – nice to have).
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
