Senior Odoo Developer – Full-Time

Location: College Road, Township, Lahore
Job Timing: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PKT

We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, customize, and implement Odoo applications tailored to our clients’ business requirements. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will ensure smooth integration, optimal performance, and successful delivery of Odoo-based solutions. Your expertise will play a critical role in the success of our Odoo projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development

• Develop and customize Odoo modules based on client requirements.
• Design and implement new features within the Odoo framework.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Integration

• Build and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange with external systems.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated platforms.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications such as e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
• Handle data migration, synchronization, and cross-system consistency.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Odoo applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements.

Database Management

• Manage and optimize Odoo databases, ensuring security and data integrity.
• Perform regular database maintenance, backups, and updates.
• Implement indexing and optimization for improved performance.

Client Consultation

• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on Odoo best practices and capabilities.
• Conduct requirement analysis and feasibility assessments for new projects.

Documentation

• Create and maintain documentation for developed modules, systems, and processes.
• Document analysis, design, and coding workflows.
• Prepare user manuals and training materials for end-users.

Testing

• Conduct functional testing before deployment to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Implement automated testing procedures for quality assurance.
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks and system bugs.

Project Management

• Lead and manage Odoo development projects from planning to delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & QualificationsExperience

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• Expertise in Odoo frameworks and module development.
• Experience with Odoo versions v10–v17 (or latest).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, workflows, business logic, and reporting.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Deep knowledge of Odoo front-end and back-end architecture.
• Experience with Odoo.sh, Odoo Enterprise, and Git.
• Understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and independent working style.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
