Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join our team in Lahore. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong technical expertise in Odoo ERP development, customization, and system optimization.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable ERP solutions, leading development initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesOdoo Development

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules according to business requirements
• Design and implement new features within the Odoo framework
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Review and optimize existing modules for performance and efficiency

Integration & Data Management

• Develop and maintain APIs for third-party integrations
• Integrate Odoo with external platforms (e-commerce, payment gateways, etc.)
• Manage data migration and synchronization processes
• Ensure system security, integrity, and data accuracy

System Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Odoo
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements
• Provide technical guidance and user support

Database & Performance Management

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Perform database maintenance, backups, and updates
• Apply performance tuning techniques to enhance efficiency

Collaboration & Leadership

• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Translate operational workflows into technical solutions
• Recommend improvements aligned with Odoo best practices
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth
• Lead projects from planning to deployment
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery

Testing & Documentation

• Conduct unit, integration, functional, and regression testing
• Implement automated testing where applicable
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Required QualificationsExperience

• 3–5 years of hands-on Odoo development experience
• Experience working with Odoo versions v10 through v17 (or newer)

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of Odoo ORM, workflows, reporting, and business logic
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with Odoo.sh, Odoo Enterprise, and Git
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Agile methodologies

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience mentoring junior developers

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
