Job Overview
Liberty Textile is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Officer - Accounts to join our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payments, accounts payable & receivable, and inventory-related accounting for knitting and weaving operations. Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payment processing, vendor invoices, and related documentation.
- Handle accounts payable (A/P) and ensure timely posting, reconciliation, and settlement of supplier accounts.
- Oversee accounts receivable (A/R), including customer invoicing, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory accounting for knitting and weaving departments.
- Reconcile accounts, verify balances, and assist in monthly and annual closings.
- Enter, update, and maintain financial data within Oracle ERP.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
- Coordinate with supply chain, production, and warehouse teams for inventory validation and cost accuracy.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports as required by management.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Equivalent).
- Experience: At least 3 years in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP (mandatory).
- Strong command of MS Excel and solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and textile industry processes is a plus.
