Job Purpose:
To drive Company-wide transformation by embedding the DP World Global Lean Business System, integrating digital solutions, and enabling data-driven performance management to deliver measurable operational, financial, and cultural impact. This role acts as a transformation integrator, bridging Operations, IT, and Leadership to:

Institutionalize Lean as a business system (not a standalone program).

Lead digital-enabled process optimization.

Ensure sustainable benefit realization.

Strengthen DP World Egypt performance maturity (Ports and Terminal and Logistics).
Key Responsibilities
A. Lean Business System Deployment (System-Level Ownership):

Lead implementation and sustainability of DP World Global Lean Business System across departments.
-
Drive value stream optimization across core DP World Egypt operations.
-
Ensure Leader Standard Work (LSW) adoption at supervisory and management levels.
-
Institutionalize Management Routines (MR) and Quick Response Management (QRM).
-
Conduct Lean maturity assessments and define improvement roadmaps.
-
Ensure Kaizen governance, auditing, and impact validation
B. Digital Transformation & Product Enablement
-
Co-Lead Digital Transformation Projects through Agile Project Management and Scrum Tools.
-
Act as Business Analyst for digital improvement initiatives.
-
Translate operational pain points into structured business requirements.
-
Collaborate with IT and Internal stakeholders on system implementations.
-
Ensure post-implementation value realization and adoption.
-
Align digitization projects with Lean waste elimination priorities
-
Support product backlog prioritization for operational systems
C. Performance Analytics & Value Realization

Develop transformation dashboards tracking:
1) Cost savings
2) Productivity gains
3) Cycle time reduction
4) Process stability

Conduct cost-benefit analysis for Kaizen and digital initiatives
-
Utilize statistical tools (e.g., Minitab/SPC) for data-driven decisions
-
Track benefit realization versus business case.
-
Shift KPIs is from activity-based to impact-based measurement.
D. Governance & Continuous Improvement Framework

Govern Kaizen lifecycle from idea submission to validation and sustainability.
-
Manage ILEAN system governance and reporting.
-
Review and update Business Transformation SOPs.
-
Align departmental Lean objectives with Global Operational and Engineering (GOE) and Global Contract Logistics GCL strategy.
E. Lean Coaching & Capability Development
-
Coach Lean Champions on Lean leadership behaviors.
-
Facilitate Supervisory-level transformation workshops
-
Drive cultural shift from reactive problem solving to structured improvement.
-
Ensure Lean training penetration across workforce levels
Requirements:
Qualification and Certificates:
-
Bachelor of (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or any relevant field of study, or Bachelor of Supply chain or Logistics.
Experience and Knowledge:
-
Year of Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in business transformation or continuous improvement.

LSSGB or LSSYB certification is preferable.
-
Minitab proficiency or any Statistical Process Control Software.
-
Supply Chain Knowledge is preferable.
-
PMP knowledge, Certification is a plus.

Scrum Fundamentals.
