Sr. Oracle Developer

Position Overview
A senior-level role responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications, databases, and enterprise systems. The position demands deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead complex development cycles from requirement gathering to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for high‑volume transactional systems
• Develop and maintain Oracle Forms, Reports, and related modules (if applicable to the organization’s stack)
• Lead end‑to‑end development cycles, including requirement analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Integrate Oracle applications with third‑party systems using APIs, web services, or middleware
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment notes

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle development
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, , SQL tuning, and database optimization
• Practical working experience with SCRUM / Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work with user stories, sprint commitments, and iterative delivery
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, and cross‑functional teams in an Agile setup
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, APEX, or relevant Oracle development tools
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews

• Software Development in a textile manufacturing company: 7 years (Preferred)
