At Oliver Law Office, we’re committed to supporting individuals and families impacted by serious injuries, unsafe products, and corporate negligence. We’re looking for a Senior Paralegal to help manage and streamline our growing personal injury and product liability caseload. In this key role, you’ll drive case progression, lead and support the case management team, and elevate the client experience. You’ll partner closely with attorneys, operations, and intake to ensure cases move efficiently—allowing our legal team to focus on advocating for clients and securing the best possible outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Case Portfolio Oversight: Manage over 200 active personal injury and product liability cases, including MDL and mass tort cases. Ensure consistent momentum from intake through resolution by enforcing milestone tracking, case prioritization, and documentation accuracy.
  • Strategic Case Progression: Proactively drive cases forward by upholding procedural timelines, ensuring all post-intake tasks, filings, and pre-SOL actions are completed within set windows. Maintain a system of accountability to minimize bottlenecks and reduce case cycle time.
  • Team Supervision & Coordination: Lead and support legal team members including paralegals, law clerks, and intake staff. Assign workloads, provide real-time feedback, and ensure SOPs are implemented consistently across departments.
  • Legal Task Execution: Support attorneys in settlement preparation, lien resolution (Medicare, Medicaid, VA), and subrogation claim management. Prepare closing statements and documentation to ensure 90% of disbursements are completed within 30 days of settlement.
  • Client Touchpoints & Satisfaction: Uphold a gold standard in client care by maintaining proactive monthly communication, sending representation letters within 24 hours, and delivering a seamless experience that results in 90%+ of closed cases receiving five-star reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with the Operations Manager and Client Experience Manager to streamline case-related scheduling, reporting, vendor communication, and team onboarding. Bridge legal process excellence with firm-wide collaboration and shared goals.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience and Legal Expertise: 7-10 years of experience in personal injury, tort, or mass tort case management, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory legal role. Proven success in overseeing MDL coordination, managing high-volume dockets, and navigating complex litigation workflows.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Skilled at leading case teams through high-pressure environments with a leadership style grounded in empathy, clarity, and accountability. Promotes collaboration, delivers feedback constructively, and maintains team alignment with performance standards and deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency and Tools: Proficient in legal case management platforms such as Filevine (preferred), with experience using CRM systems and lien resolution software. Technologically confident with a strong ability to streamline workflows through digital systems.
  • Execution and Operational Excellence: Known for deadline-driven execution, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities without losing focus. Brings a proactive mindset and exceptional organizational habits to drive consistent case progress and outcomes.
  • Client-Centered Communication: Communicates with empathy, clarity, and timeliness. Upholds the firm’s commitment to integrity, client education, and proactive outreach—ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and valued throughout their legal journey.

Additional perks:

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with additional performance-based bonuses ($5,000–$15,000) tied to case throughput, settlements, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Work Structure: Full-time, on-site role based in either Dublin or Columbus, OH. This position demands high accountability, operational consistency, and a commitment to excellence in legal service delivery.
  • Growth-Oriented Environment: Be part of a forward-moving firm with strong leadership, clear systems, and a people-first culture. As the firm scales, so will your opportunity to lead, innovate, and grow within a respected legal team.
