We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Designer with expertise in
Altium Designer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for
designing, developing, and optimizing multi-layered and FPGA based printed
circuit boards (PCBs) for cutting-edge electronic products. Your work will
directly impact product performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer,
ensuring manufacturability and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to create schematics, layouts, and
footprints for FPGA-based systems.
Implement signal integrity, high-speed routing, and power integrity
best practices for complex designs.
Generate manufacturing documentation (Gerber, ODB++, BOM,
assembly drawings, fabrication notes).
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to define board
requirements and constraints.
Create and maintain component libraries, footprints, and symbols in
Altium.
Perform design rule checks (DRC) and electrical rule checks (ERC) to
ensure compliance.
Optimize PCB designs for signal integrity, thermal performance, and
manufacturability.
Perform design reviews, simulation, and verification before
production release.
Maintain version control and design libraries in accordance with
company procedures.
Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting of PCB
assemblies.
Stay updated with industry standards (IPC, UL, CE, FCC) and emerging
technologies.
Qualifications:
Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Embedded Systems
Engineering or related field.
3 to 5 + years of hands-on PCB design experience in Altium Designer.
Proven track record of multilayer (4–12 layers or more) PCB designs.
Experience designing boards with FPGAs, high-speed interfaces (DDR,
PCIe, Ethernet, LVDS).
Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices, impedance control,
and thermal management.
Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, and
design for manufacturability.
Experience with simulation tools (SI/PI) and 3D modelling is a plus.
Knowledge of IPC standards and PCB fabrication processes.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹443,077.45 - ₹650,000.00 per year
