Sr. Planning Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Planning Engineer – Construction (High-Rise Projects)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Planning Engineer to oversee the scheduling and planning activities for our high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of proven experience in the construction of high-rise structures and be proficient in project planning tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules for high-rise construction projects using Primavera P6 or equivalent software.
• Monitor project progress, identify critical paths, and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to track progress and update schedules.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, dashboards, and look-ahead programs for stakeholders.
• Conduct risk analysis and suggest mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain documentation and record of all planning activities and updates.
• Evaluate and analyze construction methods, work sequences, and resource allocations to optimize project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in planning high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations is preferred.
