This position will work in Enterprise Risk Management and lead Orion180’s predictive modeling efforts as we expand into new markets and evolve our product offerings. The Senior Predictive Modeling Scientist will design, build, and deploy sophisticated models that inform underwriting, pricing, claims, and portfolio optimization decisions. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who is passionate about leveraging data science to create measurable business impact.

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, comprehending, and reading, being able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Occasionally, there may be a need to bend, twist, or squat down to open/close cabinets or reach for files and office objects.
The office environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven. Employees must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule and, as needed, an extended schedule based on project requirements or business needs.
