The opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help develop and scale the plug-in ecosystem for Firefly Enterprise Engine Studio. This role centers on crafting intuitive, flexible, and extensible experiences that enable Firefly capabilities to integrate seamlessly across Adobe products and third-party platforms such as Figma.
You’ll play a key role in crafting how developers, designers, and enterprise teams extend Firefly workflows—making powerful creative tools accessible, configurable, and easy to adopt.
If you enjoy crafting platforms, thinking in systems, and building tools that other tools depend on, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
As a Senior User Experience Designer, you’ll take charge of and develop core elements of the Firefly and GenStudio plug-in experience, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and partner teams. You will build end-to-end experiences for the Firefly plug-in ecosystem, including:
Plug-in discovery, installation, configuration, and lifecycle management
Uniformity across Adobe applications and external platforms
Partner with product managers and researchers to incorporate customer and developer feedback into build decisions
Collaborate with engineers to build scalable UX patterns for platform and ecosystem features
Build wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to explore and validate ideas
Ensure builds align with Adobe’s design systems, accessibility standards, and platform guidelines
Contribute to shared UX patterns and documentation that support consistency across plug-ins and integrations
What you’ll bring
8 + years of experience in product, systems, or interaction development.
Strong experience designing platforms, tools, or extensible systems (SDKs, plug-ins, integrations, or admin workflows)
Ability to simplify complex, technical workflows into intuitive user experiences
Solid craft in building across interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
Hands-on experience with Figma and prototyping tools; comfort iterating quickly based on feedback
Experience collaborating closely with engineers and understanding technical constraints
Familiarity with developer-facing or enterprise workflows is a strong plus
Passion for accessibility, usability, and inclusive building
Preferred Accessibility Build Skills
Experience crafting accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities
Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance
Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from IAAP are a plus
You’ll thrive in this role if you…
Enjoy crafting systems more than one-off screens
Like thinking about edge cases, scalability, and long-term evolution
Are curious about how tools connect, extend, and integrate
Balance user empathy with technical reality
Take ownership and enjoy shipping high-quality work in collaboration with cross-functional partners
