We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the production of advanced Missile Control Actuation Systems.
Here's what you'll be working on day-to-day:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, communicate, and support production interests during design and development of new products as well as re-design of existing products
Design for Factory initiatives to ensure products are ready for production procurement and manufacturing processes.
Serve as the production technical point of contact for the off-site design and development team(s). Engage other production resources as deemed appropriate.
Technical Project Management, including acting as technical liaison for the customer.
Participate in design and drawing reviews.
Learn/understand the design, theory of operation, key performance characteristics, specification requirements, performance margins, and test methodology of deliverable product.
Learn/understand/develop the assembly and test processes, parts, tools, and equipment.
Lead/participate in development of production process concepts and initial prototype builds as we phase into initial production.
Develop, or oversee development of, well-documented manufacturing plans.
Advocate and help the program team to follow Transition Process where applicable.
Here are the skills and abilities that will make you successful in this role:
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a production/design/development/test of complex assemblies environment.
Understanding of project schedules and project facilitation.

Salt Lake City, UT $110,000.00–$145,000.00 Annually
