Sr. Project Engineer/ Project Head - Fit-Out & Construction

Job Summary

Al Saif Graphics (ASG) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Engineer / Project Head – Fit-Out & Construction to lead and manage end-to-end execution of interior fit-out and construction projects.

The role is responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, cost control, quality assurance, team leadership, client coordination, and timely delivery of projects within budget and contractual requirements. The candidate must have strong leadership capability and proven experience in handling multiple fit-out or construction projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead the overall execution of fit-out and construction projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop project execution strategies, timelines, and resource plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor site activities and ensure alignment with approved drawings and specifications.

2. Planning & Coordination

• Work closely with Planning Engineers to develop baseline schedules and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, QS, and Site teams for seamless project flow.
• Ensure material approvals, shop drawings, and method statements are submitted and approved on time.
• Monitor procurement schedules to avoid delays in project execution.

3. Budget & Cost Control

• Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow.
• Review subcontractor quotations and approve work orders in coordination with Commercial team.
• Track variations and ensure proper documentation for claims and EOT submissions.
• Optimize resource allocation to maintain profitability targets.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and present status updates.
• Resolve client concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project deliverables.

5. Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance against project KPIs.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Ensure proper manpower planning and productivity tracking.

6. Quality, HSE & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and project specifications.
• Implement health & safety policies on-site in coordination with HSE team.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and approval requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits regularly.

7. Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor critical path activities and take corrective action where required.
• Manage project changes efficiently and maintain documentation.

8. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Track KPIs including timeline adherence, cost variance, and productivity.
• Ensure proper project documentation and handover files are completed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Fit-Out and Construction projects.
• Proven experience handling high-value interior fit-out or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site management.
• Experience in UAE projects and regulatory environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and MS Office.
• Arabic Speaking Preferred, not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification (Advantage).
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of cost control and contractual claims management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
