LaSalle Network is partnering with a global, industry-leading law firm to bring on a Senior Project Manager – Risk to lead a high-impact transformation initiative in their Chicago office. This Senior Project Manager – Risk role sits at the intersection of technology, operations and firm leadership, helping modernize how the firm evaluates and accepts clients.

This is not a typical project management position. The Senior Project Manager – Risk will drive the modernization of the firm’s global client intake process—effectively redesigning the “front door” of the organization. This person will collaborate directly with leadership, risk teams and attorneys to build scalable processes that protect the firm while enabling partners to move quickly.

Senior Project Manager – Risk Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives focused on modernizing the firm’s global client intake and risk evaluation processes
• Partner with firm leadership, attorneys and operational teams to re-engineer client acceptance workflows
• Drive project planning, stakeholder alignment and execution for multiple risk-focused transformation projects
• Facilitate conversations across business and technology stakeholders to define scalable intake solutions
• Identify opportunities for automation, cloud modernization and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with risk, conflict and client commitment requirements
• Manage timelines, deliverables and cross-functional coordination across multiple teams

Senior Project Manager – Risk Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager within a law firm environment
• Strong understanding of legal operations, risk management or client intake processes
• Experience leading business process transformation initiatives, not just technical implementations
• Ability to navigate complex law firm dynamics and collaborate with partners and senior stakeholders
• Experience managing large-scale projects in enterprise environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• PMP, Agile or related project management certifications preferred
