Sr. Purchase Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Purchase Engineer with experience in pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete purchasing cycle—from requisition to vendor development—ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of materials, components, and services required for operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase requisitions, vendor sourcing, and procurement of raw materials, components, and services in line with company and project requirements.
• Utilize the ERP system to create and monitor purchase orders, maintain inventory data, and generate analytical reports.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluation to identify reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality vendors.
• Handle end-to-end sourcing activities for materials, equipment, and services required in pharmaceutical manufacturing and engineering.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive procurement.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers while ensuring consistent quality and on-time delivery.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices.
• Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date purchase records, vendor agreements, and pricing databases.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost analysis, and budget utilization.
• Identify and manage supply chain risks to minimize disruptions in material availability.
• Support annual budget planning by providing accurate cost estimates and procurement insights.
• Stay informed about industry developments, new materials, and sourcing innovations relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
