Sr. Purchase Engineer

We Are Hiring – Sr. Purchase Engineer
Location: Shirwal
Experience: 5–6 Years (Automobile Industry Mandatory)
CTC: ₹5.50 – 6.00 LPA

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Purchase Engineer to manage procurement operations, vendor coordination, and ensure timely availability of materials for smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and follow up on Raw Material procurement based on production demand
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949:2016 / OHSAS documentation related to materials
• Implement cost saving initiatives in RM / CP / JW / Freight / Packing items
• Create and register new vendor codes and maintain ERP data
• Monitor certification validity & coordinate MSDS documentation with suppliers
• Handle procedures for intended & regular purchases (TL/CO/MT/MS/IG/GN/CG)
• Receive indents, record data, float RFQs, and conduct quotation comparison
• Negotiate pricing, freight, and payment terms; raise Purchase Orders in ERP
• Follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve material receipt issues
• Work closely with PPC team for customer schedule-based monthly planning
• Manage procurement of tooling, consumables & packing items
• Ensure GRN vs PO status tracking and gate entry issue resolution

Qualification

• BE (Mechanical / Production / Automobile) with 5–6 years experience
• or
• Diploma – DME (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) with 7–8 years experience Key Skills Required

• ERP Proficiency
• Good Communication and Documentation Skills
• Experience in Automobile Industry – Mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per month
