Sr. Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of technical and engineering-related goods and services. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement that meets project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) to identify purchasing needs.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support production and project timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores for replenishment.
• Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.
• Coordinate with the quality and engineering departments for technical approvals and vendor assessments.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in ERP systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 2 to 4+years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering components, drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with SAP
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of sourcing strategies and vendor management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
