Your Role:- Examine, review, verify, and control purchasing information within the ERP system to properly issue purchase orders to suppliers for promotional products.
- Expedite purchases already made by contacting suppliers.
- Analyze and recommend actions to resolve supplier problems related to delivery, quality, availability of goods, or other aspects of the purchase agreement.
- Coordinate with Product Managers and suppliers regarding minimum order quantities, delivery lead times, promotional pricing, promotion forecasts, freight routing, and related issues.
- Handle excess promotional inventory and analyze overstocks after promotion periods.
- Work closely with the Distribution facility and Accounting to resolve supplier delivery issues and related invoice errors in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a purchasing role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using MRP systems.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and manage basic system functions.
