- Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards and client requirements.
- Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
- Supervise QA/QC inspectors and coordinate inspections, tests, and audits.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances.
- Manage document control related to quality (QA/QC reports, NCRs, MIRs, etc.).
- Lead internal and external audits, and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies.
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior QA/QC staff and site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of dedicated QA/QC experience, with 12–15 years total experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, ACI).
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Certification in QA/QC or Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor) is a strong advantage.
