Sr. QA/QC Engineer

Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Location: Al Ain

Prime Engineering Company is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of engineering and construction activities across projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality standards, monitoring compliance, and leading QA/QC processes to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and inspection & test plans (ITPs).
• Ensure all construction and engineering activities comply with approved standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality surveillance at site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.
• Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports, documentation, and records in a timely manner.
• Lead and mentor junior QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support certification requirements (ISO, etc.).
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all project teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil and Electrical).
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior position.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and codes (ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, API, ASME, etc., as applicable).
• Experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, and testing requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC reporting tools.
