Your Impact: We are OpenText-Fortify and we specialize in Enterprise Application Security. Our product helps you manage, measure and integrate security for the entire software lifecycle.

What the role offers:

• Take part in defining and driving the overall QA strategy for the SAST product, aligning with security and development objectives. Establish quality benchmarks and metrics such as scan accuracy, defect leakage, and rule coverage.
• Development and execution of test cases targeting security vulnerabilities, false positives/negatives, and rule accuracy.
• Collaborate with security researchers and developers to validate detection logic and rule updates.
• Recommend and implement process, strategy, tools and static analysis techniques to enhance automation and testing efficiency in collaboration with the team members
• Ensure timely delivery of new features, functionality, and defect resolutions.
• Build& Monitor Automated test, review results, investigate failures

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years of commercial QA experience, including significant work in QA Automation
• Understanding QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Programming skills in Python and proficiency in OOP principles.
• Knowledge of backend CLI testing and automation tools, as well as exposure in development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable test automation frameworks
• Awareness with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Pipelines, Groovy)
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical and QA documentation, detailed test plans, test cases and defect reports.
• Knowledge of the application security concepts
• Working knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
