Sr. Quantity Surveyor

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, Equivalency Certificate is must
• Experience: 7–10 years in QS roles, with at least 3–5 years in senior positions within UAE construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Primavera)
• Analytical and negotiation skills for cost control and contract management
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project planning.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and highlight variances.
• Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and contract conditions.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
• Track project expenditures and certify progress payments.
• Manage variations, change orders, and claims.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project financials.
• Support project managers with financial insights for decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to UAE construction laws, codes, and VAT regulations.
• Implement best practices in cost management and contract administration.
