Sr SAP BW/BI Consultant

Key Responsibilities

· Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data warehousing solutions using SAP Datasphere and BW/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business strategy.

· Implementation & Modeling: Hands-on development of advanced data models, including layered scalable architectures (LSA++), Composite Providers, Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), and Open ODS views in BW/4HANA.

· SAP Datasphere Expertise: Design and build integrated, business-semantic data models within SAP Datasphere. Leverage its capabilities for data federation and creating a unified business data fabric.

· Cross-Platform Integration (Desirable): Design and implement strategies to connect the SAP ecosystem (via Datasphere) with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform for advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning workloads.

· Data Integration: Integrate data from diverse source systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, non-SAP applications, cloud data sources) using SDI, SDA, and ODP frameworks.

· Analytics & Reporting: Enable and optimize analytics for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other front-end tools by creating robust and performant analytical datasets.

· Performance Tuning: Conduct performance analysis and optimization of data models, data flows,and queries to ensure high system performance.

· Project Leadership & Mentorship: Lead technical workstreams, provide guidance to junior

consultants, and act as a subject matter expert for clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW (Business Warehouse), with at least 2+ years of project experience in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere / SAP DWC.

· Technical Proficiency:

· In-depth knowledge of BW/4HANA modeling objects and concepts.

· Proven, hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, including creating Spaces, Data Builder(Graphical and SQL views), and Business Builder.

Strong understanding of the integration between S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and Datasphere.

· Expertise in data acquisition techniques (ODP, SDI, SDA).

· Strong SQL and ABAP skills for data transformation and analysis.

· Analytics Knowledge: Solid understanding of how backend models connect and are consumed by front-end tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR28,000.00 - QAR30,000.00 per month
