Role Summary
The Senior Service Sales Engineer leads the development and execution of service sales strategies, focusing on long-term maintenance contracts, modernization projects, and portfolio growth. Beyond managing client accounts, the role is accountable for achieving ambitious revenue targets, mentoring junior sales engineers, and driving operational excellence. This senior position plays a critical role in shaping customer relationships, influencing decision-makers, and ensuring service sales profitability and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle for service contracts, modernizations, and repair projects, from prospecting to closure.
- Drive portfolio growth through renewal, conversion, recapture, and upselling strategies.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for strategic clients, consultants, and facility management companies, ensuring high-level customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate complex service agreements, balancing client requirements with company profitability.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of pre-qualification, tender, and bid documents, ensuring technical and commercial compliance.
- Mentor and support Service Sales Engineers in tender preparation, client negotiations, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate closely with technical, finance, and HSE teams to align proposals with operational capacity and legal standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings; provide insights to refine pricing strategies and service solutions.
- Ensure collection of receivables from assigned accounts and maintain healthy cash flow within the portfolio.
- Promote adherence to corporate standards, IMS, and HSE regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws and industry best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s is an advantage).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in the elevator industry, with at least 5 years in service sales leadership or senior client management.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in AMCs, modernizations, and service portfolio growth.
- Advanced negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior team members.
- Excellent technical understanding of elevator systems and service delivery models.
- Proficiency in CRM and industry-specific platforms (SAP, VIEW, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage conflicts and resolve client concerns.
