About the Job
The
Sr. Site Merchandiser is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of category-specific experiences across browse and search journeys to maximize engagement, conversion, and overall site performance.
This position requires expertise in internal search behavior, product grid strategy, and on-site merchandising performance. The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities through search term analysis, trend identification, and performance insights to continuously improve the customer experience.
In partnership with cross-functional teams, this role will ensure that key product listing pages (PLPs) reflect strategic priorities, including promotional moments and seasonal trends, while contributing to a seamless end-to-end shopping journey across facets and grid optimization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own and optimize category-specific product shelf experiences across browse and search to drive clicks, conversion, and engagement.
- Develop and execute internal search strategies, including monitoring search term performance and identifying trends.
- Lead the product grid strategy for key PLPs, ensuring alignment with business priorities such as promotions and seasonal initiatives.
- Analyze site performance to identify opportunities and implement improvements across search, navigation, and product placement.
- Partner closely with Merchandising to improve product data quality and ensure optimal assortment visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on strategies, priorities, and execution timelines.
- Lead and execute A/B testing strategies and translate results into actionable recommendations.
- Build and deliver regular performance recaps (weekly/monthly/quarterly) with insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Ensure seamless execution of site updates, including QA and validation.
- Act as a key point of contact, driving alignment and influencing strategies across partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Site Merchandising, E-Commerce, or Digital Merchandising.
- Expertise in search optimization, product grids, and PLP performance.
- Experience owning or supporting category-level digital performance in an e-commerce environment.
- Proven ability to analyze datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and optimization frameworks.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize based on impact.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
