Roles and Responsibilities – Sr. Social Media Manager
Key Role:
To lead and manage all social media projects, build strong client relationships, create impactful strategies and presentations, and effectively pitch ideas to secure and execute campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Oversee end-to-end execution of all social media projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, content, video, paid media) to ensure timely deliverables.
- Monitor progress, maintain timelines, and ensure quality output.
- Client Servicing & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Understand client requirements, objectives, and expectations to translate them into actionable strategies.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and performance insights to clients.
- Strategy & Campaign Planning
- Develop creative and result-oriented social media strategies tailored to client goals.
- Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and competitor activities.
- Propose innovative campaigns and engagement ideas to boost visibility and performance.
- Presentations & Pitches
- Create impactful presentations for client pitches and internal reviews.
- Deliver persuasive pitches to acquire new business and upsell services to existing clients.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare RFP/RFQ responses.
- Content & Creative Oversight
- Guide the creative team in developing engaging content (posts, reels, stories, campaigns).
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency across platforms.
- Review and approve creatives before client delivery.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports highlighting KPIs, insights, and recommendations.
- Suggest data-driven improvements for ongoing and future campaigns.
- Team Leadership
- Mentor junior team members and executives in social media best practices.
- Allocate tasks, resolve challenges, and encourage collaboration within the team.
- Foster a results-driven and creative work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,487.58 per month
