Your responsibilities

Duties:

Fully conversant with international design codes for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
2- Fully conversant with materials used for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
3- Work on static equipment design software for mechanical design.
4- Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets
5- Prepare and check procurement engineering documents, like tender documents/RFQs, technical bid analysis, purchase recommendations
6- Vendor follow-ups, check & approval of vendor drawings/documents
7- Coordination with other disciplines as required, ensuring success of multi-discipline project parallel working
8- Preparation, estimation and approval of bid man hrs estimation
9- Preparation and estimation of equipment loads and foundation load data
10 - Management of delegated aspects of engineering team

Responsibility:

1- To supervise and participate actively in the preparation and review the project technical specifications, material requisitions for tenders, technical evaluations
2- To interface with Client representatives and Manufacturers for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs
3- To guarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request as per project needs.
4-To provide feedback to Static Equipment Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instructions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
5- To ensure the coordination of the activities of the discipline regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers guaranteeing the consistency of the do

Job specification:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• An excellent working knowledge of spoken English is required.
• Total years of Experience: from 6 - 9 years
