SR. TECHNICIAN (FIRE TRAINING)

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Deliver & maintain a comprehensive Fire, Rescue and Emergency Response training and development programmes for both fire division and non-fire division personnel to ensure that current and new members of staff are trained and deemed competent in accordance with the relevant codes, standards and practices.

As an integral member of a team deliver Fire & Rescue training services required by stakeholders and other Joint Ventures.

Support the Fire prevention engineering section with the inspections, testing and maintenance of fixed and mobile assets.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 8 years as a Fire-Fighter in a commercial or industrial Fire-Fighter environment, civil defence force, military fire service.

Educational Qualifications:

• Completed secondary school education (12 Years)
• Intermediate English Language (QP L5) both spoken and written
• Fire Instructor or equivalent qualification
• Technical skills – must be able to use broad range of modern equipment for fire fighting and rescue
