Job description:

Job Purpose

To prepare detailed technical and commercial offers by analyzing customer requirements, estimating costs, and coordinating with different departments. The role supports project execution, controls production costs, and provides technical help to customers throughout all project stages.

Key Accountability Areas

Inquiry Management and Costing

• Respond to customer inquiries and review incoming requests
• Analyze RFQs and prepare accurate cost estimates using standard tools and processes

Offer Development and Compliance

• Prepare and submit offers in line with technical and commercial requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams to clarify missing or unclear details
• Support supplier negotiations by providing technical and cost input

Techno-Commercial Proposal Preparation

• Compile detailed techno-commercial proposals based on customer specifications
• Review purchase orders and confirm alignment with the authority matrix

Project Execution and Modifications

• Assist in preparing service and modification offers during project execution
• Coordinate with relevant departments to track budget, delivery, and execution milestones

Production Cost Control

• Apply ERP tools to support cost tracking in production processes
• Follow up on routing, process releases, and cost accuracy across production stages

Customer and Sales Support

• Join Sales Engineers in customer meetings to provide technical support
• Support Marketing Engineers with clarifications to ensure technical submittal approval
• Address client, consultant, and contractor queries across various project stages

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
