Role Overview

Tokio Marine HCC – D&O, a member of the Tokio Marine group of companies, provides specialized insurance products. The Underwriting position is in our Jersey City, NJ office where you will have the opportunity to work on FI and/or public commercial accounts for TM HCC’s D&O Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow underwriting guidelines to submit financial review along with exposure, loss and coverage analysis for new and renewal business
• Understanding policy forms and has the ability to discuss language with brokers and clients
• Cultivate and maintain broker relations while having the ability to negotiate effectively and verbalize our underwriting decisions
• Represent Tokio Marine HCC at underwriting meetings and manage client relationships
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining profitability.
• study financial, regional/national economic trends and industry conditions in the assigned underwriting discipline

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous work experience in the relevant areas of Management Liability

Pay Transparency

The pay range for this position is $124,000-275,400 which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
