PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this job is to design and produce digital-first creative assets that support Guitar Center’s performance marketing initiatives. The Senior Visual Designer will focus on creating ads, landing pages, web graphics, and emails optimized for measurable results. By combining design expertise with performance insights, this role ensures that creative assets drive engagement and conversions while maintaining brand standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Develop/create production ready marketing assets for digital delivery mediums.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to incorporate performance data (CTR, ROAS, engagement, conversions) into creative iterations.
  • Research, develop, concept, and present multi-concept campaign components to align with customer behavior and platform best practices.
  • Actively participate in team meetings for campaign concept brainstorming and development. Partner with team members as needed to develop and produce visual communication materials that support the brand strategy.
  • Partner with copywriters, performance marketers, and developers to deliver high-quality creative on time and within budget.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives by developing creative variations and incorporating learnings into future work.
  • Maintain awareness of digital advertising trends, platform innovations, and emerging design practices.
  • Support motion and interactive asset creation when needed.
  • Additional duties and campaign support as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Graphic Design or related field
  • Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
  • 1 year of project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and expert-level proficiency in Figma.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, lightweight animation, and digital ad platforms preferred.
  • Skilled proficiency developing creative campaign concepts
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital ad design, web assets, and conversion-focused creative.

Pay Rate: $70,000- $90,000 depending on background and experience.
