Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master’s Degree will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of post-graduation experience, with substantial experience working in a Grade A consulting engineering office in Qatar.
- Proven track record on projects including for Compounds, Palaces, Luxury Villas, Residential and Mixed-Use Developments, Government and Institutional Buildings, High-Rise Towers, Commercial and Industrial Facilities.
- Authority Experience (Mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in electrical design submissions, coordination, and approvals with KAHRAMAA (Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation), Ashghal (Public Works Authority)
- Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD).
- Strong knowledge of authority procedures, technical requirements, and approval processes.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to independently lead electrical design from concept, schematic, and detailed design stages through construction documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with:
- Approved contract documents
- Client and consultant specifications
- Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)
- KAHRAMAA, Ashghal, and Civil Defense regulations
- International standards such as NFPA, IEC, BS, IEEE
- Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and responding to RFIs.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, or similar electrical design software is an advantage.
